Busquets Join All Time Appearance Makers for Barcelona

Congratulations to our anchor man Sergio as he joins list all time Barcelona makers..  Yesterday's match makes it 406th appearance for the son of former Blaugrana goalkeeper Carles Busquets (a 1992 European Cup winner) who is now the 10th* on the list tied José Ramón Alexanko.

Busquets make his first team debut for Barca on 13th of September 2008 and since then its been waves of glory for the now 28-year-old midfielder who went on to become anchor man serving as a shield for Xavi( 767 appearance) and Iniesta ( 607*) who are also among the all time appearance makers.

So far Sergio as won 24 trophies at club level as well other notable international trophies like the FIFA World Cup,  Confederation Cup amongst others.

Even despite such feat Busquet is still considered many many as an overrated player but his contribution and importance to Barcelona is unquestionable, one of the important player during the Guardiola's era often regarded by many as the best team so far.

He may called be considered overrated by many but for me his a world class midfielder and at 28 he's still doing it.
